A 60-minute consultation with an authorised pharmacist immuniser who can make a qualified assessment, prescribe the most appropriate immunisation and administer your vaccine/s in one visit, bypassing the need for multiple visits to a GP.

Countries often have different immunisation requirements, and the Australian Government also has recommendations that should be considered prior to travelling overseas.

These may differ from person to person depending on your specific circumstances, the locations you are travelling and even the time of year.

Ideally, you should have vaccinations administered at least 6-12 weeks prior to your departure to give your body time to develop full immunity. Additionally, some vaccines consist of multiple doses.

Our Travel Vaccination Consult includes:

  • Pre-screening checklist to ensure all information is obtained and the appointment process is smooth.

  • Travel health consultation to determine a traveller’s individual level of risk.

  • Travel health risk assessment discussing important travel related vaccine-preventable diseases and common travel-related illnesses.

  • Travel vaccines administered based on recommendations.

  • Individualised travel health advice to ensure you are prepared for your entire trip.

Travelling overseas?

We have your vaccination needs covered with one appointment to make sure you are covered for common, and not so common contagious diseases.

On-time appointments to have you ready for your trip in one visit.

Please note that consultation fee excludes the cost of vaccinations administered.

Pre-booking is recommended for this service. Whilst we do offer walk-in service at all BUFS Pharmacies, service is subject to availability and timing.

  • We’ll spend about 30 minutes with you—reviewing your itinerary, health history, destination-specific risks, and travel plans—to provide tailored advice on vaccinations, medications, first-aid essentials, and how to stay healthy on the road.

  • Yes—booking ahead ensures we have time to give you thoughtful, personal recommendations. Fees can vary depending on travel locations and vaccines required; our friendly team will guide you through the costs and make it easy to get arranged.

  • A pharmacist’s pre-travel consult is your best defense against travel-related illness. We’ll help you understand and manage risks like malaria, foodborne illness, jet lag, altitude issues, and vaccine timing—so you can focus on enjoying your trip with confidence.
