Internship boost for local pharmacy students

Bendigo UFS Pharmacist Susan Randall received a scholarship in 2008 during her first year studying the Bachelor of Pharmacy at LaTrobe University and gained a Intern position in her final year of studies.  Some 20 years later, Susan manages Health and Innovation projects at Bendigo UFS.

Up to four lucky pharmacy students will receive support to complete their studies and a guaranteed job as part of the Bendigo UFS 2024 Intern Program.

The successful applicant will receive ongoing professional development and training at Bendigo UFS, as well as being able to work across all five stores, including the 24-hour Supercare Pharmacy in View Street.

Chief Executive Officer Lois O’Callaghan said the long-running program provided important support for students starting out in on their career journey. She said Bendigo UFS was proud to continue its investment in local employment opportunities.

Applications close August 20, 2023. More information is available at www.bendigoufs.com.au/internship
