MedAdvisor is our way of making your prescription, health and wellbeing needs easier all from the comfort of your home.

UFS Pharmacies are excited to have MedAdvisor onboard as it supports our customers to order prescription medication, organise home delivery and even ensures medication is taken safely and on-time. There are so many other great features to MedAdvisor that we can’t wait to show you.

With MedAdvisor you’ll be able to:

  • View a list of your current medications
  • Set reminders to renew your prescription or use the ‘Tap-To-Refill’ function
  • View the full details and usage instructions for your medications
  • Set reminders so you never miss a dose
  • Keep a record of your past medications
  • Get tips on how to use your medications and any possible side effects

How do I get Medadvisor?

Let us know your mobile number and we will send you a text message. Simply follow the link on the text message and it will prompt you to download the MedAdvisorapp from your Google Play or Apple Store to then get started. Alternatively you can download the MedAdvisor app and then simply call your preferred UFS Pharmacies store and you’ll be provided an Activation Code and we will support you through the next steps. Within 24 hours your prescriptions will display in MedAdvisor.

What is a preferred UFS Pharmacies store?

A preferred UFS Pharmacies store is the UFS Pharmacy you visit the most and is most convenient, whether this be closest to your home or work.

How do I organise home delivery?

When you make an order there is an option to request delivery. Delivery is $8.95 and available to 10km radius of your preferred UFS Pharmacies store. You will be able to pay for this service within MedAdvisor. If you require delivery further away please phone the store and we’ll put in place a different delivery arrangement.

Is my information kept private?

Bendigo United Friendly Society (BUFS) Pharmacies is strongly committed to protecting your privacy when you interact with us. This includes any interactions on our website, in store and includes the privacy of health records as contained in Health Legislation in every state. BUFS is also committed to protecting your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principals.Your privacy is important to us at BUFS and we treat all information provided to us by you as confidential. We will only ever disclose your personal information when required by law or with your (or if appropriate your guardian’s) written consent.

Can I purchase other items from the pharmacy, i.e Band-Aids?

Of course you can, you simply add these other items to your cart and then make the purchase.

I want to ask my Pharmacist a question, can I do this via MedAdvisor?

Yes, simply click on the “Messages” tab and then select the pen image in the top right hand corner. Write your message and click send. One of our friendly pharmacists will then be able to respond.

I am sick and in isolation but need a leave certificate – can I do this via the app?

Yes, click on the “Pharmacy” tab and scroll down to “Professional services”. Click the drop down button and scroll down. Click “Book a new service”, select “Leave Certificate” and then “Book now”. One of our Pharmacists will then be in touch.

I care for my elderly parents and children, can I manage their prescriptions too?

Caring for your elderly parents and children is important and that’s why MedAdvisor has the built in function of CarerMode®. This function means you can view their account alike your own. To set this up, simply call their preferred UFS Pharmacies store and we’ll organise you an activation code and walk you through the next steps.

Can I pay for my items on MedAdvisor to save time at the pharmacy?

Yes, you can pay for all of your items within MedAdvisor. You’ll be prompted to provide billing details to make your payment.
