A program built to support the health and wellbeing of our community.

Our program is changing.

Bendigo UFS has a long term history in providing community support in many ways.

The Building a Healthier Community Program has provided an avenue of support and a commitment to our valued community through grants, sponsorships, partnerships and fundraising. The program is supported financially through the contribution of our valued members through a portion of their membership fees. Being a member makes you part of the community work we do. In recent years since 2005 over $800,000 has been injected into the growing Bendigo and surrounds community and we wish to provide you an update on this program.

As the needs of our community evolve, we acknowledge the importance of continuing to evolving our program to better serve the greater Bendigo community’s health and wellbeing. With this in mind, the Building a Healthier Community Program is on hold temporarily. This pause provides the opportunity to redesign the new program ensuring that it makes an even bigger impact aligned with our purpose.

We are excited to announce that we are actively working on the next era of this program, ensuring that the program is attuned to community needs with a planned relaunch scheduled for April to June 2024. Our aim is to create a stronger philanthropic arm that will enable us to make an even greater difference in our community.

We want to make a difference in our community!

As a not-for-profit Bendigo UFS will continue provide fundraising and small donations until the new program is devised and launched. And the recent re-sign of the Bendgo Foodshare sponsorship supporting food security and sourcing for those in need, embeds the relationship until 2025. We’re proud to be able to provide this level of practical support to Bendigo Foodshare.

Check back soon to see updates on the new program.
