Inspiring Future Health Professionals: Heathcote Primary Visits Health@Hargreaves
We were delighted to welcome 13 enthusiastic Grade 5 and 6 students from Heathcote Primary School to our Hargreaves Street site as part of the Passions & Pathways program.
Over the morning, students explored the many moving parts of Health@Hargreaves and discovered how different teams work together to keep our community well:
Optical – a look at eye health screening, frames and lenses, and how optometrists support lifelong vision care.
Clinic rooms – how our nurses and pharmacists run consultations, health checks, immunisations, and everyday health advice.
Websters (dose administration aids) – the behind-the-scenes process that helps people manage medicines safely and confidently.
Pharmacy services – dispensing, quality and safety checks, stock management, and the teamwork that underpins it all.
