Keeping you informed

How we are supporting you

The health and wellbeing of our customers, employees and the broader Bendigo community is the reason UFS Pharmacies exist. As a result of the COVID-19 virus pandemic we have had to operate in a different way to ensure we continue to protect our customers and employees. These changes will continue to develop as this situation evolves. The government authorities will continue to make decisions that we will respond to also as quickly as possible.

We are committed to keeping you up to date with information here on our website.

Keeping you and our employees safe

You’ll notice our pharmacies have adapted to the new environment with a range of initiatives designed to keep you and our employees safe which include:

  • Customer limits have been implemented for each pharmacy to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
  • Everyone entering our pharmacies are asked to maintain social distance and follow all directions when in store.
  • Everyone is asked to use hand sanitiser on entry to the pharmacy.
  • Customers are asked to only touch products you intend to purchase.
  • Regularly cleaning of counters and other high contact areas taking place.

Both customers and employees are asked not come in to our pharmacies if they have symptoms of fever, respiratory illness (cough, shortness of breath, runny nose) or loss of smell, they should call the Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 020 080.

Processing times

The way we provide service to customers has changed and in many ways improved as part of our response to COVID-19.

  • Prescription: Prescription filling is now easier than ever and it can be done from the comfort of your home. You can either use MedAdvisor, phone ahead, or your Doctor can email it to us direct.
  • MedAdvisor app: The MedAdvisor app is a simple way to be able to manage your prescriptions and other health and wellbeing needs with our pharmacy. You can order a prescription to be filled and request home delivery all with ease from your smart phone.
  • Home Delivery: Prescriptions, and other health and wellbeing needs are able to be delivered within 10km of your preferred UFS Pharmacies store. The standard fee is $8.95 delivery, however if you are in a high risk category you may receive one delivery free per month. For more details visit here.
  • Medication: We recommend customers continue to purchase 30 days supply of their medication. Australia does not have a shortage of medications however panic buying has caused issues across the supply chain and to ensure those people who need it, receive their medication we must adhere to government guidelines, which enforce 30 days supply.
  • Waiting: We strongly encourage customers to drop their prescriptions in and return later or pre-order their prescription via the Medadvisor App, to minimise their time spent in the pharmacy.

Trading hours

We have returned to our normal trading hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm
  • Saturday 8:30am to 1:00pm

View Street 24 hour Supercare Pharmacy remains as normal including the drive-thru and a Registered Nurse service available from 6pm-10pm, 7 days a week.
